A large low platform-like cairn 20m diameter. Some larger stones of a ‘kerb’ can be seen on the east side. The summit itself is of friable shale so the larger boulders of the cairn must have been collected from some considerable area around. The cairn was intact when first recorded in 1956 but unfortunately has more recently been extensively remodelled to create a circular shelter. The cairn is built on the E facing side of the summit so was designed to provide a view to or from the lower valleys or plateau to E or SE around Afon Dulyn and the Conwy Valley.
