PRN 4050 NGR SH555577

A large, low cairn 15m diameter and 1m high. Much of the cairn material has slipped down the slope to the NW. Most of the stones are small or medium sized with a few much larger stones up to 1.3m long but no trace of a kerb. Two shelters have been dug and a small modern cairn built. The cairn lies on the NW edge of the summit plateau, limiting its view to the S and E. Although it has a spectacular view of Snowdon, the Glyderau and the Nantlle ridge little low ground can be seen in these directions. Between SW and N the whole of the coastal plain and Anglesey is laid out below, and this seems to be the intended prospect from or to the cairn.
