2 Drosgl Summit A, Llanllechid
PRN 758 NGR SH663680

A large summit cairn excavated in 1976 revealing multiple internal kerbs and two stone-built cists, one of which contained a cremation burial. There was no dating evidence and the only artefact was a broken whetstone. After excavation it was reconstructed as a flat-topped cairn 2.5m high and 11m diameter. A small modern cairn has later been built on the north side and a rough shelter built into the east side. Two cairns to the south are recent. The cairn is built on the north-west crest of the summit plateau, therefore perhaps with deliberate extensive views over Anglesey (as well as to the Moel Wnion cairn).
