If you have any special requirements due to disability, we would be grateful if you can inform us on scheduling your appointment to allow us to prepare for your visit.

Visitors to the HER are requested to sign the Trust visitors book, located in the main office, for security reasons.

User Facilities

There is a large HER search table and a dedicated networked User workstation located in the Historic Environment Record Library.

A range of reports, books and journals can be consulted in addition to the HER data itself.

Printing and photocopying facilities are available.

Toilets are available for the use of enquirers to the HER.

Disabled access to the building is via a ramp located at the front of the Gwynedd Archaeological Trust offices. Although the Historic Environment Record is located on the first floor, we are happy to accommodate wheelchair users downstairs and are able to allow both consultation of the documents and the computerised facilities in the main office. A disabled toilet is located on the ground floor of the building.
